The Fiat 500L was created by the Italian company to appeal to those who want a marriage of flair with an MPV style passenger space.
It?s part of Fiat?s plan to adapt and expand their range to offer ingenious driving solutions.
Fiat?s engineers have combined the passenger space of an MPV and SUV on road performance with the compact dimensions and efficiency of much smaller vehicles.
They boast that the result is something entirely new, rewriting current automotive categories.
The result is a practical family car that exudes the type of style and glamour rarely associated with people carriers or estates.
In preview photos released by Fiat, stand out features include the distinctive rear lights, polished metal door handles and racing-style black and polished metal side trim.
Fiat?s creative spirit in action
Describing the Fiat 500L as a meeting of functionality and emotion, it also sports a new advancement for Fiat?s ?cab forward? design.
Those wanting to purchase, lease or finance the new Fiat will be pleasantly surprised by its svelte proportions: it?s 414 cm long, 178 cm wide and 166 cm high.
So large enough for picking friends up after school or for a weekend away, but small enough to be easy to park and nippy in urban traffic.
Making it even more appealing, the Fiat 500L will come with a choice of some of the most state-of-the-art Fiat engines.
These include the award-winning TwinAir petrol engine, a 1.4 litre petrol option and a turbo 1.3 litre diesel, all of which are exceptionally efficient.
Following its launch at Geneva, Fiat expects the 500L to be available for purchase, lease or finance in Europe in winter 2012.
